Deerhurst Parish Neighbourhood Plan website
In January 2019 a group of local volunteers was set up on behalf of the Parish Council, to bring together the whole community to write a Neighbourhood Plan. When complete, the plan will represent our collective views on how we would like to protect the buildings and landscape which are special to us, whilst sensitively developing the area for future generations.
We have collected the following evidence towards writing our plan:
- Housing Needs Assessment conducted by Aecom and funded by an external grant
- Design Code Specification conducted by Aecom and funded by a further external grant
- Environmental survey conducted by Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust funded by our central grant
- A questionnaire to Parishioners undertaken in January 2020
We have now completed our first draft, and will be undertaking consultation exercises over the coming weeks to ensure that this draft represents your views. Please make sure that you take every opportunity to find out more, and to share your ideas about what is special to you.
